The term  HRM (Human resource management was popularized in the mid 1980's. HRM is the function within an organization that focuses on recruitment of , management of , and providing direct for the people who work in the organization. HRM stands for managing the employees of an organization .

M -Coordination &control to achieve set goal 

Human resource is a strategic application to management of an organization's most valuable asset . It is essential to building successful business
around the world. In other word HRM is a process of putting right people to the right task thereby making maximum use of employee's talent & abilities to achieve the desired goals &objective.

Human bureaucrat :-   setting up formal system of recruitment , selection , appraisal , discipline & grievance .

Consensus Negotiator :- Bargaining with unions negotiator , creating system of involvement & participation.

Manpower analyst :- Providing long term plan  for employment number.

Organization man :- Working strategically with top management to create organization structures & management development system.
